The pump functions as a self-contained variable speed electric motor-driven scavenge pump that scavenges lube oil from bearing sumps. The unit is electric motor driven that does not require a gearbox drive system. The control electronics communicate directly with aircraft electronic controls.APPLICATIONS:
Pump can be used in gas turbine engines as a remote sump auxiliary scavenging system. Product features have ideal applications in the UAV market.
FEATURES AND ATTRIBUTES:
Allows for remote placement of a scavenging pump which is not coupled to the gearbox drive system. Does not extract power from the turbine gearbox drive system.
