As option the DF2050 filters are available with a secondairy safety filter elements inside the primary filter elements, to secure a certain degree of filtration even in a by-pass situations.

Note:
The DF2050 Length 2 filter uses 2 primary elements and 1 secundary element (optionally) per side.
The DF2050 Length 3 filter uses 3 primary elements per side and uses a secundary element extension (optionally) on top of the Length 2 secundary element; So to get the full length 3 secundary element, both the Length 2 secundary element plus the Length 3 secundary extension is needed.
