MICROGUARD® LR filters feature proprietary E-Pleat® media technology for high efficiency applications. For applications needing higher efficiency than ASHRAE products that can easily retrofit into HVAC systems.
The Parker MICROGUARD® LR product line is comprised of four standard sizes. All filters utilize proprietary E-Pleat® media technology, which molds filtration media into a series of pre-formed channels that direct the air smoothly through the filter, allowing for even loading and complete media utilization.
This product provides 98.5% removal efficiency on 0.3 micron particulate low resistance. E-pleat media technology MICROGUARD LR can be used in a wide range of high efficiency air requirements to replace typical MERV 13-16 applications, also in mist collection systems for turning, milling and grinding machinery processes using soluble oil and even water-based cooling fluids.
The high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) frame resists cracking and is not affected by corrosion. The media resists tearing, damage, moisture and microbial growth. The filter is also completely incinerable, which minimizes waste disposal costs. Metal cell versions of the product are for use with standard HEPA frame systems.
